  16. Slidesets contained in this pack may be freely copied and distributed,
  17. provided no charge is made except such charges deemed normal by Shareware
  18. Disk Vendors. Such charge would normally cover their expenses in copying and
  19. distributing disks plus a small profit for the service they provide.

  21. Slidesets in this pack may be used free of charge indefinitely by owners of
  22. LICENSED OR REGISTERED VERSIONS of Microscope for the PC.
  23.  
  24. Slidesets in this pack may be used for upto 4 weeks by people evaluating the
  25. use of SHAREWARE VERSIONS OF Microscope for the PC to assist them in making
  26. a decision regarding paying a licensing fee and obtaining a licensed 
  27. version.

  29. If you have not already become an owner of a licensed version of Microscope
  30. for the PC then be aware of what you are missing. A simple licence to 
  31. continue viewing SHAREWARE distributed slidesets will enable you to quickly
  32. pick a set for viewing and end the nuisance of having to install a slideset
  33. everytime you want to use it. The licence is not expensive and in return, 
  34. you receive replacement software enabling better performance.

  36. Optionally, you may wish to purchase the PRO version and gain access to the
  37. Professional range of slidesets. Examples from these form the basis of 
  38. Shareware slidesets.

  51. Installing the slidesets
  52. ------------------------
  53. In the following text, (n) refers to a number between 00 to 99 or letters
  54. of the filename following the first four letters SHAR, for example:
  55. if the file you downloaded was SHARE1.EXE then SHARE(n).EXE 
  56. refers to SHAR1.EXE etc., if the file on the distribution disk is
  57. SHARMOSQ.EXE then (n) represents; if the file is SHAR03 then (n)
  58. represents 03 etc.

  61. 1) Copy the file SHAR(n).EXE to your hard disk where Microscope for the PC
  62.    software is installed. Log onto this directory at the DOS prompt and invoke
  63.    the file by entering: SHAR(n).EXE or SHAR(n).EXE as appropriate.

  65.    This will extract the 'compressed' files into the directory. You can then
  66.    delete SHAR(n).EXE or SHAR(n) from your hard disk to save space.

  125.        PRO slideset packs will be uniformly priced at 5.00 UK pounds per
  126.        disk. Where a slideset pack actually consists of 2 disks, then   
  127.        the price for the pack will be 10.00 UK pounds. All prices include
  128.        packaging and post.

  136. Slidesets are sold as packs, normally several slidesets of many images
  137. to a disk. To offer these relatively cheaply outside the United 
  138. Kingdom it is not feasible to ship single disks. Instead all prices have
  139. been simplified for non-UK customers. You can order direct from Molcol
  140. Software at a cost of $9.00 (USA Dollars per disk) but all orders must
  141. be for at least 3 DISKS. No additional shipping or handling charges need
  142. to be added. As you become aware of the growing range of PROfessional
  143. slidesets, simply choose the ones you would like, make sure they total
  144. at least 3 disks and send a cheque for $27.00 (USA dollars)

  146. Any additional slideset disks can be included on the same order for the
  147. reduced price of $8.00 (USA dollars). Here is an example:-
